Course Description:

The definitive wilderness course in medical training, leadership, and critical thinking for outdoor, low-resource, and remote professionals and leaders.

The Wilderness First Responder program is the ideal medical training for leaders in remote areas including outdoor educators, guides, military, professional search and rescue teams, researchers, and those involved in disaster relief. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical. It includes the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments for days and weeks if necessary.

Room and Board:

Full room and board is provided for the duration of the course.

Registration Information:

A $600 deposit is required to secure your place in the full WFR course with final payment due by May 1st. A $300 deposit is required to secure your place in the recertification or bridge WFR courses with final payment due by May 1st The deposit is fully refundable if you drop out before March 15th. If you drop from the course between March 16th and April 1st, you will receive a 50% refund on your deposit ($300/$150). If you drop out of the course after April 1st, the deposit is non-refundable.

If you drop out of the course after May 1st, there will be no refund on either the deposit or the full balance.
